Classrooms

The classrooms at Sharda University are an excellent place for learning, equipped with well-designed furniture, proper sitting arrangement, LCD projector and power supply. The Teaching-Learning pedagogy practised in the classrooms at Sharda University is IT-enabled where each classroom can support up to 60-200 students while the tutorial classes are designed for the strength of 20-30 students. The university campus is fully LAN-enabled with a Learning Management System(LMS), which facilitates students with accessibility to discuss academic topics, submit assignments online, get class notes and access the digital library.

Computer Labs

The University recognizes the key role that IT plays in teaching as well as research. Therefore, it is committed to providing computing facilities of the highest standards. A high-speed optical fiber network of 2.2 Gbps through two ISPs with wireless redundancy allows all students to access a range of services across our entire campus including student hostels with more than 950 access points.

Libraries

Libraries are the hub of the academic life of the Sharda University campus. Housed in spacious halls, the Libraries are well stocked with textbooks, technical journals, periodicals, and reference material for advanced research and development work. The aim is to support the university's educational, research, clinical, artistic, professional, and community-service goals. Moreover, an air-conditioned, central library is under the development phase which will remain open 24x7 for all students, faculty and staff.

Laboratories

Sharda University provides state of the art laboratory facilities to its students, faculty and staff for carrying out teaching, research and practical activities. The University has dedicated labs for various disciplines of engineering, medical, dental sciences and mass communication. These laboratories provide practical exposure to multiple subjects and give an opportunity to the students to experiment with what they have learnt in classrooms.

Seminar Rooms

The University has multiple Seminar Rooms equipped with the latest audiovisual facilities which act as a common ground for students and faculty. The auditoriums and seminar rooms are extensively setup for regular interfaces, guest lectures, presentations, conferences, cultural events and other academic activities. The auditoriums and seminar rooms provide an excellent environment to support teaching and learning for both staff and students with complete audio-visual, sound and lighting support and stadium-style seating.

Students Activities Center

With more than 20 clubs broadly classified under Cultural, Sports and Technical Societies, the student's activity center at Sharda University provides students a platform to showcase their knowledge/talents and assist in the overall growth of the students. Photography, Radio, Dramatics, football, basketball, cricket and technical club of each school are just a few to name. Sharda University has also partnered with SPIC MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) to provide students and staff of Sharda an opportunity to not only attend high-quality cultural events right here in our campus but also to explore and enhance their own cultural talents. SPIC MACAY is a voluntary organization that promotes Indian cultural arts by organizing several performances of renowned artists. In the busy schedule of academic activities, SPIC MACAY chapter brings in a sense of relaxation and also helps in developing a better understanding of the Indian culture.

Workshops

Training students in a practical environment is a vital part of the academic plans of the university, considering that actual exposure is an inevitable aspect of a student's overall development regarding subject understanding and related concepts. Sharda University offers modern workshop facilities, as an integral part of various programmes curriculum. The workshops enable students to experiment with different techniques and materials and provide the opportunity to learn to use professional equipment.

Student Court Room for Law students

Moot Court

The University has a Moot Court in which participants take part in a simulated court or arbitration proceedings, usually involving memoranda and oral argument. Through this process, the students are trained to conduct legal research, prepare memorials and engage in oral arguments. The students act as attorneys and make a case on behalf of their client. The judges then analyse the arguments of each party and put forward their viewpoints along with a deciding judgement.

E-learning rooms (Swayam/MOOCs) Classroom

The E-Learning Rooms have been developed to support students in their studies. We aim to promote and expand the use of E-Learning across the University to enhance the student experience. We strive to ensure that our facilities can reflect the excellence of the teaching, learning and research which is expected of a world-class institution.  To meet this need, the centre aims to adopt the use of state-of-the-art technological innovations, to enable the university community to realise its potential in academic excellence for a lifelong learning culture.
